How our renovation process works.
The Meridian Homes approach to renovation puts all of our experience, management ability, and operational systems at your service. Throughout the design and build process, we collaborate with architects, other professionals, and craftspeople without compromising your budget.
• Professional Services Agreement: Your renovation starts with the creation of project specifications, a budget and architectural drawings.
• Construction Agreement: Floor plans and elevations have been finalized. We have also walked you through your selections and options to determine a final price. A contract is signed at this time and construction begins.
• Progress Meetings: In addition to contact with your Project Managers as daily operations proceed, you will attend scheduled on-site meetings to maintain open communication. This is your forum for making any remaining selections and modifications, as well as for discussions of outstanding issues and previews of upcoming construction activities.
• Move-In: As work is finished, we will provide a final review of your project, consisting of a Pre-Occupancy Inspection that identifies any items requiring attention. At 60 days after completion, we perform a follow-up visit to identify any other warrantable issues that may require further work.
• Warranty: We provide our own comprehensive Meridian Homes warranty for all of our renovation clients, combined with manufacturers' warranties for consumer products and other items in your home.
