Michael and Carter are some of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of working with.  Right from the beginning, they made us feel heard and taken care of.  We wanted someone who are quality-above-all-while-keeping-it-simple-builders, and they are beyond a doubt that. They are not the cheapest on the market, but they make sure they stick to the budget. They informed us of any changes in the prices and the potential budget increases in time so we could adjust our choices to bring the costs down.  Michael and Carter did not disappear on us after the first meeting; in fact, they remained our point of contact throughout the process. They were there to guide us in making reasonable choices in every subcontractor meeting—whether it was picking doorknobs or kitchen cabinets.  Right from day one, Michael worked on our timeline and delivered our house well ahead of schedule.  Like pricing, he kept us informed how every decision would affect the final delivery date.  That allowed us to make good decisions that wouldn’t unduly delay our overall project.  He kept us informed—sometimes too much!—of all the deadlines all the time.  Good people attract other good quality people and all the subcontractors we worked with in this process are good people who do good quality work.  We worked with Geri to design our house and could not have been happier.  He listened patiently to our requests, educated us on the design process, and came up with design that we absolutely love and have received so many compliments on.  Building a house is long process with many twists and turns and we are very happy that we went through it with Michael and Carter.  They tried to make it as comfortable and predictable as possible, and we are happy with the final outcome.
